Lounge, dine, work, and when you’re ready to rest, our 180-degree seats use an innovative seat platform to fold into 76-inch beds. The cabin’s 2-2-2 configuration with sliding privacy screens are ideal for couples, families, or those traveling alone.

Taking cues from Hawaii’s environment, nature comes into the cabin with tones of earth, sand, sea, and natural materials. Sinuous curves of the seat and translucent materials create an open, airy feel and evoke gentle ocean waves. The unique design of this cabin feels like no other airline’s lie-flat seats.

Our Design Inspiration
Constellation Divider
Constellation Divider
A Constellation Divider between the Premium Cabin and Main Cabin adds a magical touch by featuring the constellation Makali'i, rendered in subtly twinkling fiber-optic lights. Known as Pleiades, or the Seven Sisters in Western astronomy, Makali'i is the cluster of stars appearing in the Northern Hemisphere during the winter months. It is significant to Hawaiian Airlines, as Makali'i is the constellation that was high in the sky when our first airplane took flight on November 11,1929.

Hawaii’s Natural Resources
When we started the process of designing our Premium Cabin Lie-Flat seats, we didn’t start with the idea of designing a seat. We began by studying the distinct elements of Hawaii’s environment.
The curves of the seat shell depict Hawaii’s ocean waves.
The privacy divider between seats is inspired by our Island rainforests and natural woods.
Colors throughout the Premium Cabin are earthy tones. Brown for the earth, blue for the sky.
Nature, architecture, craft, and all the things unique to the Islands were considered and incorporated into the design to create not just a seat, but a truly authentic experience.
Poltrona Frau Leather
Luxurious Comfort
We sought the finest leather for our Premium Cabin seats, and found it in Poltrona Frau, a renowned furniture-making company based in Tolentino, Italy. Poltrona-Frau’s Italian-made leather is synonymous with elegance and perfection. Soft-to-the-touch due to a production process subject to rigorous quality controls exceeding industry standards, these leather products reflect old world quality while meeting modern day luxury. Our Premium Cabin joins the likes of Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati, as the premium leather of choice for their product interiors. We knew Poltrona Frau offered the high standard of quality and comfort we wanted our guests to experience.
Exclusive Amenities
Taking inspiration from the night sky, the new Hawaiian Airlines x Noho Home travel products take guests on a sensory journey, one that resonates with Hawaii storytelling. Three motifs — Kilo Hoku, Lele and Olali — guide the designs of this sustainably made collection. Look for the new soft goods and amenity kits in-flight starting Nov. 6, 2023.[1]
