Donate your
HawaiianMiles to charity
The power of community perseveres in Hawaii. We’re proud to support local nonprofits that are uniting people for positive change. Our 14 partner organizations each represent a keystone of society: culture, education, environment, and health and human services.
By donating your earned miles to a Hawaii charity, you can support important local causes in a meaningful way. Your contribution can help make a difference in protecting coral reefs, perpetuating Hawaiian traditions, granting wish experiences for a child with a critical illness, assisting medical travel and so much more.
At the end of every year, Hawaiian Airlines matches up to 500,000 miles to each participating charity. Not only does your donation of miles go directly to the nonprofit, but it also contributes to a larger annual goal.
Your HawaiianMiles can make a bigger impact than you may have ever imagined.

Founded by King Kalakaua and concerned citizens in 1883, the Hawaiian Humane Society has long been recognized as a prominent advocate for animal welfare in the Islands. As a community-driven organization based on Oahu, the organization develops best practices for socially conscious sheltering and collaborates with local partners to improve the lives of vulnerable animals. It's deeply committed to the human-animal bond, facilitating adoptions and short-term foster care with fees waived for senior pets. Friends of Hokulea and Hawaiiloa
Recognizing the importance of perpetuating ancient Hawaiian canoe resources and the spiritual nature of canoe building, Friends of Hokulea & Hawaiiloa was established in 1996 by master canoe builder, Wright Bowman, Jr., the nonprofit’s name originates from two history-making vessels that demonstrated traditional canoe carving and wayfinding techniques: Hokulea, first voyaging from Hawaii to Tahiti in 1976, and Hawaiiloa, taking its maiden journey from Hawaii to Marquesas Islands in 1995. Today the Friends of Hokulea & Hawaiiloa continues to build, restore and share traditional canoe-building skills to increase appreciation for this unique Hawaiian heritage. Donated HawaiianMiles are used for material sourcing and community outreach, as well as switching crews at ports of call.

Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL)
In Hawaii, coral reefs ensure our way of life. Corals are living animals that produce habitat for more than 7,000 marine species and protect shorelines from erosion. Understanding the critical need for reef conservation in Hawaii, Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL) has led efforts here since 2006, focusing on preventing land-based pollution from contaminating ocean waters around Maui and Hawaii Island. Working closely with local communities, CORAL supports citizen science programs on water quality, reef-friendly landscape design and natural filtration processes. Donated HawaiianMiles ensure their work continues across the Islands.
